![]() This script offers the possibility to apply some creative cool effect on your startrails. I got inspired by the script offered liketheocean blog and also by David Kingham What does the Script do ? This script will allow you to create a startrail with some amazing effects, the first version contains the 5 effects found in liketheocean blog and two extra ones that I created myself and called them Zero Opacity and Total Opacity. Whats is new in this Script ?
More details on the script: BLEND_MODE : As the name suggests this variable controls the Blend Mode between the multiple layers. The default value is LIGHTEN. I suggest to use LIGHTEN for best results. For some types of images SCREEN might also come in handy. CREATIVE_STYLE : This variable drives the pre-defined style.

I spent long hours to optimize and make this script please let me know how it would work for you ... i am sure you will find bugs and error or even bad calculation or bad situation where this script won't work, feel free to modify it, share it with other people or send me your findings and your suggestion and I will try to include them in the next version. I've used this script to edit startrail shots that I've taken the past few weeks. I absolutely love it! The 'Saucer Effect' is my favorite! The only problem is, I want to go back and re-edit all the startrails I've shot months and years ago! Don't hesitate to try it...Thanks for the script Salim!

Are you looking at creating a version that works with Lightroom rather than Photoshop
